Thankful

Last night I woke up every two hours, I'd either be drenched in sweat or freezing. I had an awful sore throat and was battling a fever. This morning I felt even worse. I had plans to go hiking with a girl I met at church but sadly I had to cancel. The only plus about having a sore throat in Southern California is it's always a perfect day to have ice cream.

I stayed in bed for half the day reading "Farewell to Arms" by Ernest Hemingway. Late afternoon I Facetimed my family and that made my day ten times better.
I even got to Facetime my Romeo:)

After that I helped my brother organize the garage. I have this weird love for organizing, so I had a lot of fun. Afterwards we went out to eat at Filippis. This good family owned Italian restaurant. I had some of their pizza and it was delicious.

Today started off rough, I was sick and I had to cancel my fun plans. Towards the end of the day I became extremely happy and satisfied. Whether or not I stay as long as planned, I am so happy I'm here. I love getting to know my family more and I love spending this quality time with them. I am truly blessed.
I found my nephew Cole sleeping like this today. Looks very uncomfortable.
I always get to hang out in the backseat of the car with the little guy, Cash.
